Pantheon Roma, Itary
HOUSING OKURA’s complex housing is designed in an environmentally-sensitive way using state-of-the-art technology. Besides the purpose of producing quality residences, we have developed energy-saving complex housing buildings with super-insulated structures for the reduction of CO2 emissions. Also, we have recycled scrap building materials as part of our commitment to the establishment of a recycling-oriented society.
Reinforced concrete (RC) has a long history dating back to ancient Rome when Roman concrete architectures such as the Pantheon were invented in Europe. In Japan, the standard use of reinforced concrete for residential buildings, including Dojunkai apartment houses, started at the time of reconstruction activities following the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923. HOUSING OKURA established a first-class registered architectural office in order to build on the history of reinforced concrete. Since then, we have engaged in the construction of concrete complex housings for 20 years.
HOUSING OKURA employs high-density concrete structures that can sustain various environmental factors and conditions for decades. We also have unique know-how with regard to space design and structural design in order to get the best out of reinforced concrete performance.
